We Stand With Our Immigrant Communities

For more than 20 years, Bust Out has been proud to call Minneapolis home.

Now and always, we stand with our immigrant communities. Their presence, culture, and contributions make our home stronger, more creative, and more vibrant. Our city and state would not be what they are without them.

In solidarity, Bust Out has made donations to local organizations, selected by our team members, that are doing critical work on the ground, including:

  • The Advocates for Human Rights — This organization believes that everyone has the power to demand and defend human rights. Among other things, they provide free immigration legal services to people fleeing persecution, unaccompanied children seeking safety, and victims of human trafficking.
  • Calvary Food Shelf — Located in South Minneapolis, they have been providing food assistance for Twin Cities community members for over 30 years. They immediately activated an extensive delivery program to reach people that are unable to safely leave their homes.
  • The Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota — ILCM provides free immigration legal representation to low-income immigrants and refugees in Minnesota and North Dakota.
  • Joyce Food Shelf — Located in Uptown, Joyce has been distributing food to local community members in need with respect and dignity for many decades.
  • MIWRC — The Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center empowers American Indian women and families while advocating for justice and equity. They also operate a critical warming center for vulnerable people in Minneapolis.
  • Unidos MN/MONARCA — Unidos MN is a grassroots organization that advances social, racial, and economic justice for all. They operate MONARCA, which operates an emergency hotline and provides other resources for immigrants and community defenders.
